Milan Linate Airport (LIN) is Milan's city airport, located just 7 km east of the city center. It's the most convenient option for travelers heading to central Milan, handling primarily domestic and short-haul European flights.

The airport has a single terminal with limited but sufficient facilities. Linate is favored by business travelers for its proximity to downtown and quick transit times.

Important: Milan has two main airports:

• Linate (LIN): City airport, 7 km from center—domestic/short European
• Malpensa (MXP): Main international airport, 50 km from center—long-haul/most international

Key airlines: ITA Airways (largest), Alitalia successor routes, easyJet, British Airways, Air France, and Lufthansa.

Linate's city location is its main advantage:

Metro Line M4 (Blue Line) now connects Linate to central Milan:
