José Joaquín de Olmedo International Airport (GYE) serves Guayaquil, Ecuador's largest city and main port. Located 5 km north of the city center, it's Ecuador's busiest airport and a key gateway to the Galápagos Islands.

The airport has a single terminal with modern facilities. Named after the poet and independence leader José Joaquín de Olmedo.
