Air Corsica is the regional airline of Corsica and the primary air link between the French Mediterranean island and mainland France. Founded in 1989 as Compagnie Corse Mediterranee (CCM Airlines), the carrier rebranded to Air Corsica in 2010 to better reflect its identity as Corsica's airline.

The airline is majority-owned by the Collectivite de Corse (Corsican regional government) with a 66.84% stake, underscoring its role as an essential public service provider. Air Corsica operates Public Service Obligation (PSO) routes that ensure reliable connectivity between Corsica and mainland France, regardless of commercial viability. These routes receive government subsidies to guarantee service continuity for island residents.

Air Corsica operates from all four Corsican airports and maintains a close partnership with Air France, including codeshare agreements and participation in the Flying Blue frequent flyer program. While not a member of SkyTeam, this partnership provides passengers access to a broader network and loyalty benefits.
