Scoot is Singapore Airlines' low-cost subsidiary, offering medium and long-haul budget flights from its hub at Singapore Changi Airport. Founded in 2011 and launching operations in 2012, Scoot has grown to become one of the world's leading long-haul low-cost carriers, winning Skytrax's "World's Best Long Haul Low-Cost Airline" award in 2025.

Unlike traditional short-haul budget carriers, Scoot operates Boeing 787 Dreamliners on routes to Australia, Europe, and distant Asian destinations, making it one of the few LCCs to specialize in long-haul travel. The airline also operates Airbus A320/A321 aircraft for regional routes and Embraer E190-E2 jets for smaller markets.

Scoot serves over 70 destinations across 15 countries in Asia-Pacific, the Middle East, and Europe. As part of the Singapore Airlines Group, Scoot passengers can earn and redeem KrisFlyer miles, providing a loyalty pathway typically unavailable with budget carriers.

ScootPlus offers a premium experience at the front of the aircraft:

• Configuration: 2-3-2 on Boeing 787
• Features: Plush leather seats, enhanced recline, adjustable headrest
• Included: 15kg cabin + 30kg checked bag, hot meal with alcohol option, 200MB WiFi, in-seat power, priority check-in and boarding
