S7 Airlines (formerly Siberia Airlines) is Russia's largest domestic airline by passenger traffic and fleet size. Headquartered in Novosibirsk, the airline traces its roots to 1957 when it operated as a division of Aeroflot. The airline rebranded as S7 Airlines in 2006, adopting its distinctive bright green livery and modern identity.

Important Note on Current Operations: Since 2022, S7 Airlines' international network has been significantly impacted by sanctions following Russia's invasion of Ukraine. The airline's oneworld membership has been suspended since April 2022, meaning oneworld benefits (lounge access, mileage earning/redemption on partners) are not available when flying S7 or when S7 passengers travel on other oneworld carriers. The airline no longer operates flights to the European Union, United Kingdom, United States, or most Western destinations.

S7 remains Russia's dominant domestic carrier, operating an extensive network across Russia's vast territory from multiple hubs. The airline is known for its Siberian roots and comprehensive coverage of Russian domestic destinations, from the European part of Russia to the Far East. International operations continue to destinations including Turkey, UAE, China, Thailand, Vietnam, Egypt, and other countries that have not imposed airspace restrictions.
