Yakutia Airlines (Aviakompaniya Yakutiya) is a regional carrier based in Yakutsk, the capital of the Sakha Republic (Yakutia) in the Russian Far East. Founded in 2002 through the merger of Sakha Avia and Yakut Airlines, the airline is owned by the government of the Republic of Sakha and serves as a vital transportation link for one of the most remote and climatically extreme regions on Earth.
