Croatia Airlines is the flag carrier of Croatia, headquartered in Zagreb. Founded in 1989 as Zagal (Zagreb Airlines), the airline rebranded to Croatia Airlines in 1991 following Croatian independence. The airline operates a fleet of approximately 14 aircraft, including Airbus A319s, A320s, and De Havilland Dash 8-Q400 turboprops, serving destinations across Europe and connecting Croatia with the world.

As a member of Star Alliance since November 2004, Croatia Airlines offers seamless connections through partners including Lufthansa, United Airlines, Air Canada, Singapore Airlines, and Austrian Airlines. The airline plays a vital role in connecting Croatia's coastal destinations along the Dalmatian coast with major European cities, particularly during the peak summer tourism season.
