About

SeaPort Airlines is an American regional commuter airline operating shuttle service between Portland, Oregon, and Seattle, Washington. Headquartered as a division of Kalinin Holdings, Inc. in Juneau, Alaska, the airline is a sister company to Alaska Seaplanes and Island Air Express.

The airline has a unique history. The original SeaPort Airlines was established in 2008 by Kent Craford and John Beardsley, initially connecting Portland and Seattle before expanding to Essential Air Service routes to rural airports. The original carrier ceased operations in September 2016 due to pilot shortages and filed for Chapter 7 bankruptcy. After nearly nine years, SeaPort Airlines returned on May 20, 2025, under new ownership with the same founding chairman, Kent Craford, now at the helm of Kalinin Holdings.

SeaPort operates Swiss-built Pilatus PC-12 turboprop aircraft, offering a boutique commuter experience that bypasses the crowds and security lines of major airports. The airline uses private aviation terminals at both Portland International Airport (PDX) and Boeing Field (BFI) in Seattle.
